Welcome to the Kre8tors March blog hop. This month we were given a colour challenge to make a monochromatic card using green. The only other colours we could use are black and white.
Green surrounds us every day, but for some reason I found this challenge quite difficult. Maybe it’s because green isn’t one of my go to colours. After looking through my stamp sets for inspiration I settled on my newest and yet to be used Poppy Moments dies and Peaceful Moments stamp set.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this suite!
I took my lead from the gorgeous papers, using the green striped one for my card background. Oh that was hard sticking the beautiful poppy side face down onto the card base but every now and then Stampin’ up! bring out a pack of designer paper that can do no wrong…..every side is just perfect. Peaceful Poppies is exactly that!

The die cuts from Poppy Moments just speak for themselves. Nothing fancy needed with these beauties. I used the ‘splatter’ stamp from Painted Poppies to add a touch of green to the poppies with Pear Pizazz ink.
