Stamp n’ Hop July blog hop

Stamp n’ Hop July blog hop

Welcome to the monthly Stamp N’ Blog Hop. This month’s theme is all about casing the annual catalogue. I decided to case a card from the See a Silhouette suite as it was on my desk after doing the scrapbook layout in my last post.

The See a Silhouette suite is on p132/134 of the annual catalogue and is absolutely stunning. The colours on the papers are really vibrant, the dies are so versatile and the stamp images are so clear and crisp.

So here is my take on the card. I had taken part in a demo card swap and the remit was to use at least two new in colours. I chose my faves Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray. The DSP made me think of a stormy sky. I got a little carried away with the embellishments and wanted the card to have a romantic feel, so the raindrops turned into sparkly sequins under the umbrella. Kinda like….weather the storm together and it will work out ok!

This is the group of cards for the swap.

If like me you are a fan of our designer series paper, you may be interested in my paper share if you are in the UK. If you are a demo contact me and I can offer you a demo discount! Click on the image below for more info.
